This year, we are excited to partner with the US-India Science & Technology Endowment Fund. The Endowment will award $3,000,000 in six grants of $500,000 each to deserving technology startups in the first phase of 2012. We hope most of the TiE50 companies had a chance to apply! Those of you who missed out on this opportunity will have another opportunity to apply again in June! TiE50 applicants will be kept posted on the Endowment Board grants.
The TiE50 Awards application process will take time. We urge all applicants to get an early start and apply soon. We particularly urge all previous TiE50 winners or finalists to apply again this year. These companies will not be required to go through the first phase of screening. They will be considered as part of the pre-screened companies by the judging panel for consideration to the TiE50 Finalist pool.
Upon successful registration and payment of the participation fee, we will send you a password protected access to upload your company profile. This interface will have a "public profile" section and a "judging access only" section. Public profile of each applicant will be open to public viewing and a TiE50 label as pertinent will be displayed: next to the public profile: "TiE50 Company", "TiE50 Finalist" or "TiE50 Winner". All content submitted in the judging interface will be confidential and limited to the exclusive access of our judges.
